Kid's Co-op and New Years Resolutions

Welcome to the first Kid's Co-op of 2013!

"Let this coming year be better than all the others. Vow to do some of the things you've always wanted to do but couldn't find the time. Call up a forgotten friend. Drop an old grudge, and replace it with some pleasant memories. Vow not to make a promise you don't think you can keep. Walk tall, and smile more. You'll look ten years younger. Don't be afraid to say, 'I love you'. Say it again. They are the sweetest words in the world."

-Ann Landers

More than anything, I really hope 2013 brings peace, health and happiness to all my readers, friends and family. I've been tempted to write a new blog post about New Year Resolutions, but this year, I want to take a different approach. I want my actions to speak louder than my words. You can talk about diet, good-will and random acts of kindness, but if you don't put it into action, it really doesn't matter.

I think I'm a good person, but there's always room for improvement. So, I have already started making positive changes in my life, and I'm looking forward to seeing my new goals flourish throughout the year.

It's becoming a trend that people choose a word to define their goals for 2013.  My word will be "Action."

ac·tion [ ákshən ]  Doing something toward goal: the process of doing something in order to achieve a purpose

Enough of this resolution talk, let's go play at the Kid's Co-op...
