It's been a while since we've attended a Home Depot Kid's workshop, but it's definitely time to get there again soon! On Saturday, November 2nd 2013, from 9am - 12 noon, Home Depot is hosting a FREE workshop for kids ages 5-12 to build a table-top ship that would be perfect as a Thanksgiving centerpiece.
All of these workshops are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis, so it's really important to pre-register on the Home Depot website.
According to their site, this workshop teaches children do-it-yourself skills, tool safety and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment. Children will recieve a wooden craft kit, a certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin.*
